Hello
readers, welcome to Motivational Quote and Story. Today we have yet another
motivational story that will blow your mind. Our story of the day is dedicated
to Bartosz Ostałowski,
a famous drift car driver. So let's get into his story.
Bryant Mcgill once said -
"The Number One Skill in
Life is Not Giving up."
The above line can be aptly
fitted to Bartosz
Ostałowski. Bartosz was born in 1986 in a small town in
Poland. From his early days, he had a great connection with cars. In one of his
interviews, he revealed that being a race car driver was his childhood dream.
Bartosz Ostalowski's
accident that changed his life -
From
his teen, Bartosz
was preparing hard to achieve his dream of becoming a race car driver. He also
had to go through all the driving tests so that he could qualify to compete in
his first rally race. But his dreams got shattered when he met with a tragic
accident in 2006. Bartosz Ostałowski was only 20 at that time and it was a
motorbike accident, due to which his hands got irreparably damaged and later
got amputated to save his life. Losing his hands at this early age destroyed
his youth, his ambition, and his dreams of becoming a race car driver. But soon
he realized that although he lost his hands, he still have a long life
before him and he could do something to change his faith.
Bartosz Ostałowski's come
back -
It
took quite a few months for him to plan for his come back to the racing arena.
First, he had to do modifications to his car to suit his needs. Next, he had to
reeducate himself according to his limitations and fine-tune his skills. Within
few months of the rigorous training, he came back to claim his due fame. Bartosz Ostałowski now
uses his feet to handle the staring and his shoulders, for breaking and gear
change. Over the years of training, he achieved God's level in driving by his
feet. If one can see his car doing fabulous drifts and stunts it would be next
to believe that the person behind the wheel is using his feet only for these
dangerous but seamless stunts.
Carrier -
Bartosz Ostałowski started his racing journey
in 2011 in the European Rallycross Championship in his modified BMW E30 (a
fun fact modified Audi 80 was his first legal racing car), but seeing that
rally racing is slowly losing popularity in his country, Bartosz, thought
switching his sports. Instead of rallycross, he started to drift car racing in
2012, where style, speed, execution are the key points of judging the victory.
Being a spectator's sport this drift racing is also gaining popularity in
Europe, the credit of which goes to the iconic movie "The First and
the Furious- Tokyo Drift".
Sofer Bartosz
Ostałowski used his iconic Modified
Nissan Skyline R34 for his Drift racing but currently, he is planning to switch
from Nissan to BMW-E92 and we all wish him all the best for his future.

My takeaway
from the story –
We in our day-to-day life we always think about our limitations, it is like we are not capable
enough to do something. But if we think deeply, we will realize that there is
no actual limitation bounding us doing something, it is just our mind playing a
trick to convince us not to go beyond our comfort zone. Once we can silence
these thoughts, we definitely can see the possibilities beyond our imaginary
limitations and the story such as Bartosz are the burning proof of that. So
please try not to underestimate yourself and your potential. In fact, when you
are pushing your limitation not only you who is growing, it is all the other
people around you, your colleagues, your rival, all will try to grow to keep up
with you. And this is how society will grow. Just think if someone stopped
thinking about growing, what kind of value addition he is doing in the society,
he is as good as a non leaving being. So always think about growing, growth is
the symbol of life, and stopping is the symbol of death. So keep working till
you are alive. Always try for the best what you can achieve, if you achieved
that try for more. If you are doing something, if you are doing some job of
having a business always try to reach the next level, also keep a backup plan
for any kind of worse outcome. Now, what do I mean by backup plans, no it is
not like I am doing a business and my backup plan is if I fail I will get into
jobs. You always have to keep your backup plan related to your goal. If you are
into a business that means you thought about something before getting into your
business and you should have a backup plan related to your business only. It is
like football or basketball if plan A is not working go for Plan B. The human
mind tends to stay in its comfort zone. So whenever you would thought about
doing something else or venturing out of your so-called comfort zone there will
be a voice within which will call you out and tell you "Why you are doing
it, it is not necessary ". But as responsible humans, it is our duty not
to listen to these words as this will stop you from growing and from being a
better version of yourself. So keep working, keep growing to evolve out of your
limitations.
