Good day Readers, welcome to the Motivational quote and
story.
Today Our Motivational quote is –
“
If people are doubting how far you can go, go so far that you can’t hear them
anymore.”– Michele Ruiz.
Today
I will share one such story of someone who worked hard enough to overcome the
doubts and hate enforced upon him. Our story is about Dave Bautista. If you are
a Professional Wrestling fan like me, you probably already know about whom I am
referring here. He was one of the biggest stars of WWE. But today, I’m not
going to discuss wrestler “Dave Batista”, as that personality was mostly made
up, but I will try to discuss the real-life of Dave Bautista in this article.
Early Life of Dave Bautista -
Dave
Bautista was born on 18th Jan 1969 in Washington D.C. in a
mixed-raced family, of Greek and Filipino descent. Being brought up in a poor
family Dave’s childhood was pretty rough. He got very little education in his
childhood. At the tender age of 9, three murders occurred in his neighborhood
that scarred Dave’s childhood. During his teenage, he was also got involved in
some illegal activities such as stealing cars. In his youth, while working in a
nightclub Dave got involved in a fight which resulted in his arrested and one
year of probation. After release, Dave worked as a lifeguard.
Dave Bautista WWE career -
There
is a famous saying, which goes like, “Sometimes, one small incident can change
someone's life”; the same happened with Dave when he felt so much humiliated
while borrowing money from a friend to buy Christmas gifts for his children. He
became determined to change the way he was leaving so far. Dave always
possessed god-gifted physic and he thought about taking advantage of it by
polishing it to perfection so that he can stand out from the crowd. Thus he
started bodybuilding. The breakthrough finally came to his life when he joined
the world's top wrestling organization, WWE. Bautista being a big guy with 132
Kilograms of weight (290 LBS), 6 ft 4-inch high, and with exceptional physical
attributes became pretty famous in WWE in no time. But again problem arises
when people started to compare Dave with his fellow wrestler John Cena.
According to Dave, John was a well-educated and outspoken person, as a result,
became pretty popular among the kids and teenagers, where Dave, with nominal
education and a shy personality, felt kind of lost. On top of it, Dave had to
face constant hate from the wrestling viewers on his every appearance in the
wrestling ring, which, as per Dave, was very disheartening, as he was not in
control of the character that was built for the stage. During this time Dave
also faced an allegation (not proven) of steroid abuse which he denied
completely. Dave took retirement from WWE in 2019 after WrestleMania 35. His
last match was against his once friend, Triple H.
Dave Bautista MMA Debut -
After
taking retirement from Professional wrestling he started his carrier in MMA. He
got his training in Brazilian-jiu-Jitsu from Cesar Gracie and earned his Purple
Belt. He also took some training in Muay Thai during this time. He had his only
match in MMA against Vince Lucero where Dave won the match via Technical
knockout.
